This runs on its own — no one has to remember.

The same patient ends up registered twice more often than you’d think. They come in a year later, the front desk is busy, the phone number’s slightly different or the name’s spelt another way, and a brand-new file gets created instead of pulling up the old one. Now the person’s history is split across two charts — past prescriptions here, allergies there — and the doctor sees only half the picture. It muddies your records and your reporting too. At a fast counter, nobody has time to search for a possible existing match before hitting save on a new registration.

Without it

The same patient gets registered twice, splitting their history across charts — confusing care and muddying your data.

With Clinizy Care — automatically

At registration, Clinizy Care spots a near-identical existing patient and pauses so your team can merge instead of duplicating.

How it works, step by step

01

New registration started

02

Clinizy Care spots a likely match

03

One clean record kept

This runs at the instant of registration. As your team creates a new patient, Clinizy Care checks for a near-identical existing patient — a close match on details like name and phone — and, if it spots one, pauses so staff can merge into the existing record instead of creating a duplicate. It’s a soft check: it warns and lets your team confirm, so nothing is blocked outright and you stay in control. It ships off by default and can be switched on with a match sensitivity you tune, so it catches likely duplicates without flagging every common name.

Time saved

No cleanup of duplicate charts later

Money saved

Clean master data and coherent patient histories

By catching near-identical patients before the record is saved, Clinizy Care helps keep one coherent history per patient — so doctors see the full picture and your reporting stays clean. There’s no messy clean-up of duplicate charts later. It’s a soft check, so your team stays in control, and the benefit is better data quality rather than a rupee figure.

Questions, answered

Does it block registration?

It is a soft check — it warns and lets your team confirm; nothing is blocked outright.

Is it on by default?

It ships off by default and can be switched on with a tunable match sensitivity.

What matches count as a likely duplicate?

It looks for near-identical patients on details such as name and phone, and the match sensitivity is tunable. So you can set how close a match has to be before it pauses — your Clinizy Care admin can dial this in for your front desk.

Will it slow down our front desk?

It’s a quick, automatic check at the moment of registration, and being a soft warning it lets staff confirm and carry on. When there’s no likely match, registration proceeds as normal; the pause only appears when a close existing record is found.
