Short answer

In Clinizy Care, open Reports and set your dates. Three panels sit under the report buttons. Day-end Collections shows money received and refunded. Revenue reconciliation checks revenue against the payment ledger. Period-over-period compares your dates with the days right before. Your role and plan decide which panels you see.

Before you start

  • Your clinic’s plan must include advanced reports. If it does not, these panels do not appear.
  • Know your role. Admin, receptionist and billing staff see Day-end Collections. Only admin and billing staff see the other two panels.
  • Decide which dates to look at, such as today for the day’s cash.

Steps

  1. Open Reports from the left menu and find the panels under the report buttons.

Tip:The panels follow the dates at the top of the page, not the report you pick.

  2. Choose Today, This week, This month or Last 30 days, or pick your own dates. All three panels change together.

Tip:The chosen dates are written out under the buttons. Check them before you read a number.

Careful:If the page shows As of now · live snapshot instead of dates, press a report that uses dates. Outstanding Dues has none. The panels keep the last dates you set.

  3. Read Day-end Collections for your dates: Collected, Refunded and Net in drawer.

The Day-end Collections panel on the Reports page: Collected, Refunded and Net in drawer, and a table by payment mode.
    Step 3 of 7

Tip:The table splits the money by payment mode, such as Cash or UPI, and ends with a Total row.

  4. Compare the Net figure in the Cash row with the cash you counted for the day.

Tip:To check one day, choose Today.

Careful:A payment counts on the day it was received, and a refund on the day it was paid out. That may not be the day of the bill.

  5. Read Revenue reconciliation: compare Dashboard revenue with Ledger net, then read Variance.

The Revenue reconciliation panel with a Reconciled badge and its three tiles, next to the Period-over-period table.
    Step 5 of 7

Tip:Dashboard revenue counts money received on bills that are not cancelled and does not take refunds off. Ledger net counts all money received, less refunds.

  6. Check the badge beside the title. Reconciled means refunds and cancelled-bill payments explain the whole Variance.

Tip:The line under the three tiles gives both amounts in rupees.

Careful:Check needed means they do not explain it. Look through the bills and payments for those dates.

  7. Read Period-over-period. For each row, compare Current with Prior, the same number of days right before your dates.

Tip:Collected here is measured like Dashboard revenue above, so the two match for the same dates.

Careful:The last column shows the change in percent. A dash means the earlier period was zero, so no percent can be worked out.

If something goes wrong

Why can I not see these panels?

Your role and your clinic’s plan decide this. Admin, receptionist and billing staff see Day-end Collections. Only admin and billing staff see Revenue reconciliation and Period-over-period. The plan must include advanced reports. An admin can change report access in Settings, under Roles & permissions.

Why is the variance not zero?

A gap is normal. Dashboard revenue does not take refunds off and leaves out payments on cancelled bills. Ledger net takes refunds off and counts payments on cancelled bills. The line under the tiles shows both amounts. Only Check needed means something else is behind the gap.

How is Day-end Collections different from Revenue Summary?

Revenue Summary lists the bills you raised. Day-end Collections counts the money that moved: payments received and refunds paid out on your dates.
