Short answer

In Clinizy Care, open Billing, press New Bill, choose the patient or tick Walk-in customer, and type each item with its quantity, rate and GST percentage. Check the total, press Create Bill and confirm. The bill opens straight away so you can press Record Payment and take cash, UPI or card.

Before you start

  • Have the patient’s name, phone number or UHID ready.
  • Know the items or services to charge and their rates.
  • Check that your clinic’s GSTIN is added in Settings. Without it, bills are not GST tax invoices, and your admin can add it.

Steps

  1. Open Billing, press New Bill, then search for the patient by name, phone or UHID.

The Create Bill window with the patient search box and the Walk-in customer option highlighted.

Tip:For someone who is not registered, tick Walk-in customer instead.

  2. Type each item with its quantity and rate, and choose the GST % when it is shown.

  4. Check the tax and the total in the summary panel before you save.

  5. Press Create Bill and confirm.

The saved bill with the Record Payment button highlighted.
    Step 5 of 6
  6. Press Record Payment on the new bill when the patient pays.

Tip:You can record cash, UPI or card, and part payments too.

If something goes wrong

Can I bill someone who is not registered?

Yes. Tick Walk-in customer instead of searching for a patient, then add the items as usual.

Why does a discount ask for a reason?

A discount above 20% of the bill needs a reason, so there is a clear record of why the price was reduced.

How do I take the payment?

Open the bill and press Record Payment. You can record cash, UPI or card payments, including part payments.
