Short answer

In Clinizy Care, open Lab and choose Result Entry. Find the patient’s test and press Enter results. Type each value. A badge shows High, Low or Critical when a value leaves the normal range. Add an interpretation if needed and press Save. The saved test leaves your list.

Before you start

  • The sample must be collected first.
  • Have the values from your machine or bench sheet.

Steps

  1. Open Lab from the left menu and choose Result Entry.

  2. Find the patient’s test in the list. Each row is a test whose sample is collected.

The Result Entry tab with the tab bar and the Enter results button of the first test highlighted.
    Step 2 of 7

Tip:Urgent and STAT tests are ranked first.

  3. Press Enter results. The form lists each parameter with its unit and normal range.

  4. Type each value. Pick from the list where the test gives choices.

  5. Watch the badge beside each value. It shows High, Low or Critical when a value leaves its range.

The result entry form for blood sugar with a high value typed in, its badge beside it and the Save button highlighted.
    Step 5 of 7

Careful:A value far outside the normal range asks you to confirm it is not a typing mistake.

  6. Add an Interpretation or notes if you need to.

  7. Press Save. The saved test leaves this list.

Tip:A doctor or admin verifies the result next, unless your clinic uses auto-release.

If something goes wrong

Why is a test missing from Result Entry?

Its sample has not been collected yet. Collect the sample first, and the test then appears in this list.

Can I fix a result after saving?

Yes, until a doctor or admin verifies it. Open the order from Orders and press Enter results again. Saving an empty form is refused, so saved results are not wiped by mistake.

What do the flags mean?

High and Low mean the value is outside the normal range for the patient’s age and sex. A critical flag means it is beyond the critical limit. A critical result is never verified automatically. A doctor or admin must sign it off.
