Short answer

In Clinizy Care, open Patients and type a name, phone number or UHID in the search box. The list updates as you type. Check the name, age and UHID on the row, then press the patient’s name to open the record. Use the filters when the list is long.

Before you start

  • Have the patient’s name, phone number or UHID ready.
  • A UHID is the patient’s unique hospital ID, such as P-00123.

Steps

  1. Open Patients from the left menu.

  2. Type a name, phone number or UHID in the search box. The list updates as you type.

The Patients page with a name typed in the search box. The filter buttons and the matching patient are marked.
    Step 2 of 6

Tip:Type at least two characters. Phone numbers match from the first digit, and a UHID must be typed in full, such as P-00123.

  3. Check the name, age, UHID and phone on each row to be sure it is the right person.

Tip:A Possible duplicate tag means another record looks the same.

  4. Press the patient’s name to open the record. If only one patient matches, press Enter in the search box.

  5. Press a filter, such as Added this week, to narrow a long list.

Tip:Doctors also see My patients and Follow-up due. Nurses see Here today and Vitals pending. Roles that can open billing see With dues.

  6. Use the buttons on a row for your next step, or press the ⋯ menu for the rest.

A patient row’s ⋯ menu open, listing Add to OPD Queue, Book, Collect and New Bill.
    Step 6 of 6

Tip:On a computer, move the mouse over a row to see its buttons. Reception sees Add to OPD Queue and Book, plus Collect when the patient owes money. Doctors see Write Rx.
