  • Pharmacist
Included in Nursing Home and above3 min

Short answer

In Clinizy Care, open Payables to see what you owe each supplier. Find the invoice and press Record payment on its row. Check the amount, choose how you paid, add a reference if you have one, and confirm. The balance on that invoice goes down, and a part payment is allowed.

Before you start

  • Have the supplier’s invoice number and the amount you are paying.
  • Know how you paid: cash, UPI, card, bank transfer or cheque.
  • The invoice shows here only if its details were entered when the goods were received.

Steps

  1. Open any Pharmacy page, then choose Payables in the tab bar at the top.

Tip:Admins open Pharmacy from the left menu. Pharmacists can use Point of Sale.

  2. Read the Total outstanding at the top, then find the supplier below it.

  3. Find the invoice. Each row shows the invoice number, the GRN, the total, what is paid and the balance.

The Payables tab showing the total outstanding, one supplier invoice and its Record payment button.
    Step 3 of 7

Tip:An age shown in red means the invoice is 30 days old or more.

  4. Press Record payment on that invoice’s row.

  5. Check the Amount (₹). It starts as the full balance, so lower it for a part payment.

The Record supplier payment window with the amount, payment mode and reference filled in.
    Step 5 of 7

Careful:You cannot pay more than the balance.

  6. Choose the Payment mode. Fill in Reference (optional) if you have one.

  7. Press Record payment and confirm.

Careful:A recorded payment cannot be undone.

If something goes wrong

Why is my supplier invoice not in the list?

An invoice appears here only if you entered its details when you received the goods. A receipt filed without an invoice does not become a payable.

Can I pay part of an invoice?

Yes. Lower the amount before you record the payment. The rest stays as the balance, and the invoice stays in the list until it is fully paid.

What happens if I return goods to the supplier?

A purchase return lowers the balance due on that goods receipt, so you pay less.
