Sell a treatment package to a patient

Short answer
In Clinizy Care, open the patient’s profile, find the Treatment packages card and press Sell package. Choose the package, check the payable amount, then press Sell and bill. Take the payment in the form that opens, or choose to collect later, and press Book first session to book the first session.
Before you start
- Know which package the patient wants. An admin adds packages with New package on the Packages page.
- Decide if the patient pays now or later.
Steps
Open Patients, search for the patient and open their profile.
Find the Treatment packages card and press Sell package.
Step 2 of 8 Choose the package. Its price and number of sessions show on the card.
Step 3 of 8 Tip:For a one-off package, pick Custom for this patient and fill in the sessions and price.
Check First session on. It starts as today’s date.
Press Change price or add a discount only if the price or discount differs from the catalogue price.
Tip:A price change applies to this sale only.
Careful:If discount approvals are on and your discount is above your limit, the bill stays at full price until an approver agrees.
Check the payable amount. It is worked out for you, with GST where it applies.
Choose Collect payment now or Collect later, then press Sell and bill.
Tip:Collecting now takes full or part payment right after the sale. Collecting later keeps the bill open on the patient’s account.
Take the payment if a form opens, then press Book first session to book the first session.
If something goes wrong
Where do I see which packages are due or unpaid?
Open Packages and switch to Patients. It lists every sold package with the next session, the valid-till date and any balance due. Tabs such as Due or overdue and Expiring soon narrow it.
Can I change the price for one patient?
Yes. Press Change price or add a discount and type a new price or a discount. It applies to this sale only. The catalogue price stays the same.
What if the patient cancels the package?
Open Packages, switch to Patients, open the package’s menu and press Cancel package. Money already collected is not refunded there, so settle any refund from the bill.

Set up the treatment packages your clinic sells
The clinic admin opens Packages and presses New package. Type the name, the number of sessions, the gap between them, how long it stays valid and the price with GST. Add the stock each session uses and any aftercare advice, then press Save package. Staff can then sell it from any patient’s record.

Press Complete on the patient’s card in your Day Planner, or press Record session on the Treatment packages card in the patient’s record. Check who did the session and the stock used, add a note if you like, then press Save session. The sessions left and the next due date update on their own.

Open Packages and switch to Patients. Tabs such as Due or overdue and Expiring soon show who needs a call. Each row has Book and Record, and its menu can freeze, extend or cancel the package. The same actions are on the patient’s Treatment packages card.

Open Billing and type a bill number, patient name, UHID or phone number in the search box. Press a status chip such as Unpaid to narrow the list. Open the bill, press Record Payment, enter the amount and how it was paid, and confirm. The bill moves to Partial or Paid.
